Day 7 was another sea day continuing our way south. The seas were a little rougher on this day but nothing to worry about and still way smoother than the previous sea day. We spent most of the day just relaxing again and then had a little more activity in the evening.

Day 6 was our next port of call in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. I honestly had no idea what to expect with this port, and we did not book any excursions. We got off the ship but stayed around the port area and looked at the shops to see what was for sale. We did get some shirts, including a nice short sleeve button up shirt each. These button-up shirts we decided we would all wear to dinner one night during the cruise. Besides looking at the shops, we also stopped to try some local beer. Once we went back on board, we did more of the same evening activities, including dinner, drinks, and shows.

Days 4 and 5 were both sea days. Since the weather was lovely and the water warmed up a lot from the first day, we spent most of those two days around the pool relaxing and enjoying the water. Pool, warm water, drinks, food, sunshine, and great ocean views, what more could you ask for in a day. It was a great way to spend the days before our next port. The waves picked up a lot toward the end of the second of the two sea days. This wind made the crew ask us to leave the pool so that they could close it for safety reasons. But we made sure to enjoy it while we could.

Day 3 was our first port of call at the beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico. We had never been there before this cruise, so we decided to do a whale watching excursion since it was a good time of year for the whales. In the beginning, I was not so sure that it was going to be any good, but toward the end of the excursion, we had some fantastic sights!! There were two great sights to see on this tour. The first of those sights we saw before even heading out to sea for the whales. This site was the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. It stands about three stories tall and naturally eroded over centuries.

Day 2 was a sea day as we headed south to Cabo San Lucas, Baja Mexico. Since we had nothing scheduled at all during the day, we woke up whenever we felt like waking up, which was still in time to get breakfast from the Lido deck. The pool water was still quite chilly, so we stayed out of the pool for another day and decided to enjoy the beautiful day wandering around the ship. Toward the end of the day, just before going to dinner, I looked at the sky and had a feeling that the sunset would be incredible. I decided to go to one of the open decks to get some photos. My gut feeling turned out to be completely accurate, and my reward was a breathtaking sunset! Just take a look at it in these photos!

After having an exhilarating night of seeing The Rock, we woke up to a beautiful morning. Just take a look at this picture I took before we walked to the port area. We could not have asked for a more beautiful January day to start an incredible cruise.

I recently realized something over this holiday season. Every year for the past five years, I have been in a different place for Christmas. I spent these five Christmases in three different countries and one in no country. No country sounds a bit weird, but it will make sense if you keep reading below.

So, I ended my last post, click here if you missed it, talking about going on a Whale Watching Tour with a friend. In this post, I want to talk all about my first stop: Sydney. I should mention that before I flew out to Australia, I booked a few different tours. The first one I booked was an Intro to Australia Tour for my first nine days in Australia. This tour included accommodation, activities, and multiple meals. I spent the first day and night with my friend then the next nine days were spent on this tour.
