Panama Canal Cruise Day 7
Day 7 was another sea day continuing our way south. The seas were a little rougher on this day but nothing to worry about and still way smoother than the previous sea day. We spent most of the day just relaxing again and then had a little more activity in the evening.
Late at night, I went with some friends I made on the cruise to an adult scavenger hunt. I won’t go into too much detail about it because it gets really interesting. If you would like to see what I am talking about, then simply google “Carnival Quest game”. You should find everything you could want to know about the game. I will say that there were a lot of laughs and people doing things they usually wouldn’t do. People tend to be a little more open on cruise ships since they realize there is a very high chance they will never see most of the people on the ship again.
Some details about the beautiful Carnival Miracle
Since this was a day where not much happened, I will talk a bit about the ship. Carnival Miracle is in the Spirit-class ship with the Spirit, Pride, and Legend. This class is one of my preferred class of carnival ships because the layout is excellent. The ship has 12 decks accessible to guests, and most of the activities occur on decks 2, 3, and 9. Decks 2 and 3 are where most of the indoor activities occur. Deck 9 is where the pools are and outdoor events.
Deck 3 has a cool area that goes on the outside of the show lounge called Gatsby Garden. This area is just a beautiful spot to get away from most people and relax since there are benches throughout the pathway. Decks 2 and 3 have the dining room, which is where we went for dinner every night. The dining room is also where we had the same Maître D,’ and one night, he even wore the hat that my grandmother had knitted for him on our last cruise. You can see him in the hat in this photo. Check out the next post for our day in Costa Rica!
